The Art of Living Softly: Why Every Woman Needs to Embrace a Slower, More Beautiful Life.
(this is what you need)
NOTE: From now on, there will always be two parts to these emails, part one is to help you change how you feel about yourself & your life, and part two will be how you feel about your social media. Which ever one is aligned with you, you get to read, and you get to leave the rest.
A soft life (this is what you need)
I’m learning that this is what it’s always been about.
Making moments count.
Getting used to the same. And sometimes improving upon it.
Enjoying slow mornings.
Taking some time with the purrs of my kittens.
Creating beauty with the things I have.
Reveling in the sunshine.
Being present with the moon.
Learning more about my feminine.
Finding adventure in a book.
Drinking a warm liquid.
Setting the table.
Tea and fresh bread in the afternoon.
A warm fireplace.
Soft Music.
Beauty upon beauty.
What if we went back to creating beauty:
Fine clothing,
Intentional spaces
Music that makes us feel something lovely, artwork that takes our breath away, intentionality in our wardrobe,
Setting the table,
Fresh flowers,
Nature flowing inside the home,
Teas and fresh bread,
Candles and real smells,
Fireplaces and cotton blankets -
Beauty upon beauty upon beauty.
“Beauty is the promise to happiness” - Edmund Burke
This is the era of taking back your life, and in turn, taking part of yourself.
Prioritizing your happiness is not selfish,
It’s divine, it's beautiful, it’s inspiring, it’s freeing.
By loving life and yourself, and by being certain of who you are, you get the heal generations before you.
Moms, grandmas, great-grandmas, aunts.
What an honor it is to leave a legacy of healing.
All because you’ve chosen a soft life.
The soft life is not for everyone, but I know it’s for you.
It’s where you meet yourself in the purest form: no distraction, noise or, comparison.
It’s from this place that we devote ourselves to ourselves. Our life to our life.
These repeated cycles are showing us something to heal… a void that needs to be welcomed, embraced and loved.
A part of us that feels inadequate, devalued, unworthy, shame and guilt.
A new perspective needs to be born from this place where you meet yourself.
You cannot find it anywhere else.
Our emotions hold a lot of wisdom.
The outcome is magical: inner peace, deep self-discovery, leadership, self-appreciation, love…
Going from conditioning of who you think you should be to who you are.
That is the biggest void of all, it is the biggest obstacle to true happiness.
But first, a soft life is needed for this discovery to happen.

This summer was all about just that. It was soft. Simple.
Watching the birds, and the butterflies outside.
Tending to the garden, the herbs, the grass, the fruit trees…
Eating dessert on the deck in the middle of the afternoon, having warm tea in the morning…
Watching the sunset, feeling the wind on my face, grounding like never before.
Nature walks nearby, snuggles and kisses in the sunlight.
A deeper love, a bigger healing, and a purpose.
We even had mushrooms growing on the front lawn, and it felt like I could see fairies flying around (no they were not magic mushrooms, I just allowed myself to dream).
It felt like we did nothing, and it felt like everything.
This is what every woman needs, a stepping out of urgency culture.
I’m still in this feminine wisdom era, and I know this will last a while longer. But I’m here for this season of my life.
My hormones feel more in sync, my nervous system seems at peace and my love for this life has amplified.
I feel God all around me, I feel like this magical inspiration and creation just floating… innovation is who I am. It’s always been, but now more than ever, it’s a deep part of me.
Own your path, own your uniqueness.
Someday you’ll wake up, and realize that all your woes are gone.
And you’ll wonder how the heck it happened (or maybe you’ll know exactly how). You’ll realize it’s not because you analyzed your way through, or you kept feeling icky about yourself.
It’s because every day you woke up, and showed up for your own life… and you kept moving forward.
In a softer way. In a self-discovery way. For you.
Social Media wisdom – Allow social media to be a reflection of this soft era, allow yourself to represent everything your going through without needed to share everything in detail, or in a way that seems overly/fake or happy (unless that’s how you really feel). Allow yourself to be in this soft period, and share your life contemplation from this place.
